The e.Thirteen Components Photo and Story Contest
The guys at e.thirteen components (all 5 of us) are dedicated to all the riders out there. To show our love, we are having a photo contest, in conjunction with Pinkbike.com. We want to see your e.thirteen products doing what they do best: taking a beating. In the late 1990’s, it was the norm to get only a few months’ use out of your chainguide before it needed replacing. In 2001, a small rider-owned company by the name of e.thirteen components released the world’s first “Chain Retention System,” the now legendary SRS. It had the strength, reliability, performance, and light weight to get riders through SEASONS of riding, not just weeks.
Fast forward to 2006. We are still a small rider-owned company, but now we are recognized worldwide as the makers of the best performing and longest lasting chain retention systems and 1-speed chain rings available. Now we want to share the proof. We want to see the most abused and beat up e.thirteen chainguide that still kicks down hard on the trails. We want to hear about how your e13 kept you riding . . . .right onto the podium. We want to hear that story of the perfect day of riding that your e13 made better because you didn’t have to think about losing your chain. Show us how your e.thirteen product has made your life better, and we’ll share your story with the world.
Winners will be determined by e.thirteen staff and will receive a free replacement upgrade of their system. We will choose one winner for each model of chain retention system. So feel free to enter with your DRS on the all-mountain bike, STS on your street bike, and your LG1 or SRS on the DH bike.
Who can enter?
Anyone who owns an e.thirteen components chain retention system.
What to do?
Send us photos and a brief write-up of your e.thirteen chainguide in all its glory.
When to do it by?
Photos must be received no later than Wednesday October 11th.
How to enter?
Photos can be either emailed or snail mailed to the addresses below. Please be sure to include an email address or phone number where we can reach you.

Winners will be announced on Friday the e13th of October 2006 on pinkbike.com and e13components.com
All submitted photos will become the property of e.thirteen components. Don’t send us your only copy! Winning photos and stories will be displayed on the e.thirteen components website. Winners will receive one 2007 chain retention system to replace a used and abused system.
