Aaron Chase Badly Injured
May 07, 2007 NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, England (derailedonline.com) - Aaron Chase has been hospitalized after a very bad ramp crash at the opening event of The Qashqai Urban Challenge. Aaron has been reported to have injured his back from a terrible crash that sent him to the hospital.
More news as we get information regarding Aaron's condition. Fellow rider Darren Berrecloth accompanied Aaron to the hospital. We wish Aaron a speedy recovery!
This event was the first stop in what promoter Nissan is calling "first international Pan-European Urban Freeride Competition with the largest prize fund to date." The largest cash purse that has ever been offered for a series of events with 200,000 Euros on the line.
