Nissan Qashqai Madrid Street Update
May 19, 2007 MADRID, Spain (derailedonline.com) - Darren Berrecloth took top qualifying position yesterday at the Nissan Qashqai Street competition in Madrid, Spain. Adam Hauck, invited as one of the specialist, walked away with 1500 euros yesterday after he won the best trick contest. Adam took 40 seconds to complete one of the smoothest runs of the day winning him the best trick contest.
Today is the finals for the Madrid portion of the 5 city event. Paul Basagoitia grabbed second in qualifying, still stands as points leader for the whole event. Today will be a pivotal event for the points chase and the goal of the 200,000 euro prize at the end.
