Sheldon Brown Dies
WEST NEWTON, Mass. (derailedonline.com) - Sheldon Brown passed away last night suffereing from a massive heart attack. Sheldon Brown was known by many for his website that included one of the interenets largest repository of information on bike repair. His website is one of the most viewed websites on the internet for bicycle information and often very high on search engine hit lists. He worked as a bike mechanic at Harris Cyclery for a number of years. Many people learned valuable information on how to repair their bike from the information he published on the web. I personally remember learning how to build my first set of wheels reading his instructions.
