Plattekill July 5-6 DS and DH Results
ROXBURY, New York (derailedonline.com) - Plattekill concluded a successful race weekend that was their second dual slalom race and 4th DH race of the year. This weekend was also their stop on the Gravity East Schedule other than the finals which is also being hosted at Plattekill.
60 riders entered into the dual slalom event which is a huge number. DS is alive and well! Downhill had a total of 167 entries for the weekend - a good turnout as well.
Weather was great all weekend. Party sunny mid-low 70's with no rain! Fast,technical course built by the Delta House crew that everyone seemed to
like. Two courses were used, one course for Pro/Experts and another course for Sport/Beginners that merged together into one course in the last woods section of the course. Some other notable news Geoff Ulmer had a very nasty crash in practice on Sunday morning requiring medical attention.
