Shimano Steps Down LX Group
IRVINE, California (derailedonline.com) - With the introduction of the new SLX group for 2009 that displaces the old workhorse group LX. Shimano made note of this so the LX group is now destined as a comfort bike group. There are no disk brakes, only V brakes. Trouser guard on the crank sets. And a large geared hub for the rear. So bye-bye to the LX group that served the MTB riders of the world for many years.
