Fort William WC Results with a USA Top 10
FORT WILLIAM, Scotland (derailedonline.com) - Fort William concluded with Greg Minaar and Sabrina Jonnier taking the win from the DH event on Sunday. Aaron Holmes Gwin from the USA also makes it into the top 10!
While behind Sam Hill through most of his run, Greg Minaar turn on the power toward the end of the run and was clocked at 69.498 kph throught he speed trap near the bottom - faster than anyone else of the day.
In the overal points race Peat's lead in the standings has slipped to a slim four points over team mate Minnaar at 762, with Atherton in third at 657 and Hannah at 652. The race for the overall title among the men is still very tight. Jonnier's win has extended her over Moseley, with 892 points to the British riders 750. Moseley is also being chased from behind, as Ragot has moved to within 25 points.
