CONSHOHCKEN, Pennslyvania (derailedonline.com) - 7-Springs Resort in aptly-named Champion Pennsylvania is no stranger to USAC-sanctioned championship bicycle racing. This coming weekend, 7-Springs will host its first major downhill mountain bike race in several years as it hosts round three of the Gravity East Series. The event, the first under the management of the resort’s new mountain bike management team, will also mark the debut of a brand-new race course based on the E-C-1 trail designed by two-time World 4-Cross Champion Eric Carter.
Following last weekend’s two-run format at Wisp Resort, the Gravity East Downhill at 7-Springs reverts to the traditional format with practice runs on Saturday and a single championship run on Sunday. To facilitate the overnight stay, 7-Springs is offering a special rate of $129 for its on-site hotel.
