France (derailedonline.com) - Not the news we typically cover here on Derailed but worth a note. Lance Armstrong coming off a four year "retirement" is now only two tenths of a second from the yellow jersey. The seven time champion of the Tour de France is already on a good start to winning yet another title.
In the past Lance Armstrong excels most in the mountain stages of the race, those stages are still on the horizon. If history holds any insight into the future, Armstrong may very well win another Tour de France.
With all the news recently about UCI rule enforcment on bikes and allegations of drug use, it will be interesting to see the fall out in the media if Lance does pull off another win. In the last 48 hours the media has already been on fire and a mob of journalist have already started assaulting the team bus of Astana - Lance's current bike team.
