Crankworx DS and Garbanzo DH Results

WHISTLER, British Columbia (derailedonline.com) - USA Sweeps the Crankworx DS. What has come to be a highly anticipated race, the DS at Crankworx, was won this week by Kyle Strait (USA) that beat veteran Brian Lopes (USA) in heat after heat. Lopes took second. In third place was Neko Mullaly of Pensslyvania, USA, a talented young kid (16) that has made a house hold name for himself along the eastern seaboard of the US dominating the various gravity racing series. He's currently the youngest pro racer in the US competing on the Pro Gravity tour and various Canada races.

330 riders took part in the Garbanzo DH which decends 3,400ft on some of Whistlers most technical terrain in the park. As the dust settled from that man runs, Justin Leov (NZL) took the Garbanzo DH event with a two second margin over Chris Kovarik (AUS) and three seconds over Sam Hill (AUS).
