Gravity East Series Standings Update

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (derailedonline.com) - Following a successful event at Blue Mountain Resort and Vertical Earth MTB Park, the standings for both downhill and dual slalom have been updated. This weekend is the tenth stop on the Gravity East Series calendar and the race that leads into the series final. This race, along with the finals, is going to be an important determination in the classes as to who will win the overall series for their event and class.

After winning last weekend's event, Neko Mullaly is closing on a possible double crown for the Gravity East Series in both disciplines. He holds a comfortable lead in the slalom but is quickly moving up the rankings within the downhill closing in on the leaders. Downhill field is currently being lead by Alejandro Ortiz with Jason Memmelaar and Ben Hulse. Ben Hulse putting in the mileage this year with frequent trips from North Carolina. But the most interesting race of the whole series is going on among the Pro/Open women ranks. The separation between first, second, and third (Stephanie Gubernat, Dawn Bourque, and Karen Eagen) is so marginal that it could be any of the three that walk away with the series. Karen Eagan holds a comfortable margin in the Slalom points race over Kate Parhiala and Lauren Daney.

Slalom standings as well as Downhill standings have been updated and ready to download.
