Closing Day At Highland
NORTHFIELD, New Hampshire (derailedonline.com) - Season is finally coming to a close at Highland Mountain Bike Park this weekend on Saturday the 14th of November. In tradition as the past three years, Highland is going out with a bang to include riding all day then video contest and party afterward in the lodge.
Video Contest
For the third year in a row, Highland Mountain Bike Park is rounding
out the year with our annual Video Contest Party. Here’s your chance
to show off all the incredible riding and filming you’ve been
capturing all season. So how does it work you ask? Easy – simply cut
together your best 2.5 – 3 minute teaser video (it doesn't have to be
all at Highland), upload it to vitalmtb.com between October 21st and
November 8th and tag "Highland Mountain Bike Park". Once the videos
are up, viewers and a panel of judges will select the 10 best videos
for finalist presentation at the 2009 party on November 14th.
When the riding is done and the party starts, we’ll play those videos
in front of a packed house in our base lodge where our panel of judges
will select a winner. We’ve got tons of product up for grabs from our
sponsors including gear from Pro-Tec, Gravity, Sinister Frame, GoPro
and a 2010 Highland Mountain Season Pass. So get editing, be creative,
and have some fun!!
Silent Auction
We’re big believers in supporting our friends who might be a little
less fortunate than us. That’s why we’ve partnered with two amazing
causes to help raise some funds and build awareness for their efforts.
The two charities, the Red Bull Wings for Life and the Jimmy Fund,
are both incredible causes that we believe in whole heartedly. That’s
why this year in addition to our donation at the door some of our
friends and family have donated loads of product, memorabilia, and
other cool items to be auctioned off in a full-day silent auction. So
come on out for our last day of 2009! In-between runs take a look
around at all the great stuff that could be yours while supporting two
amazing causes.
NWD 10 Movie Premier & After Party
It wouldn’t be like us to finish out the season without celebrating
what an amazing year we’ve had with everyone. Once again we’ll be
hosting a full day of events including a silent auction, video
contest, live music, and of course the premier of New World Disorder
10, Dust and Bones. Once the lift shuts down for the year the energy
will move from the hill to the lodge where we’ll be partying into the
night at our annual Closing Day Party.
Tickets
Tickets are $12 online or at the Highland Ticket Booth before event
day and $15 day of event.
