Lehikoinen Goes Blue With Team Chain Reaction Cycles/Intense
BALLYCLARE, United Kingdom (derailedonline.com) - Plagued by injuries since 2007, Finish DH Star Matti Lehikoinen is back to full health and has signed to ride with Chain Reaction Cycles/Intense for 2010. Matti seeks to replicate his performance in 2007 where he was second in the UCI World Cup Series for the year.
He joins the Chain Reaction team that includes Australian Chris Kovarik, Frenchman Julien Camellini, Canadian Claire Buchar, England's Matt Simmonds and Scot Ruaridh Cunningham. They will continue to race on Intense frames for the 2010 year. Matti comes off of the Evil team from 2009 and is looking forward to his new teammates for this coming race season.
"All my injuries are in the past now, I'm healthy and looking forward to the upcoming season," said Lehikoinen. "The past two years have been pretty hard for me but now I'm really motivated and hungry for some good results in 2010."
