New England Bike Retailer Auction
BOSTON, Massachusetts (derailedonline.com) - Ski Market scheduled to be sold and auctioned off by early part of February. According to the notice filed in U.S. Bankruptcy court, bids are for all the assets owned by Ski Market are due Jan. 27. After which an auction will take place Feb. 1.
If you are an entrepreneur in the New England area and want to get a kick start to your new outdoor or bike shop related ventures, this may be a golden opportunity. Ski Market assets are large and vast with over 40 locations in the New England area.
No information has come out on pertaining to the debts owed by Ski Market to many of it's creditors which includes a few bicycle companies. One can assume the auction will generate revenue to pay those debts off and clear the accounts in order to terminate the company.
