Help Change UCI Rules To Better DH

AGILE, Switzerland (derailedonline.com) - Fallen slightly under the radar, UCI has made a significant change to the rules of jerseys on the UCI world cup circuit. UCI has reinstated the rule that National Champions must wear their National Championship jersey during all timed runs and on the podium. This rule was removed when Steve Peat previously challenged the rule and fought to have it removed.

Why is this bad for the sport? Racers who are concerned about sponsorships will now be not inclined to participate in National Championship competitions. Cause the UCI limitations on National Championship jerseys do not allow for very large logos and limit the total number of logos.

Steve Peat petitioned for this rule to be removed cause of the glaring impacts in could have on the sport. The petition was granted and the restriction was removed. Now UCI has - without reason - reinstated the rule.

Join Pinkbike in petitioning again for UCI to remove this regulation from the World Cup circuit.
