Vigo Bike Contest 2010 Results
VIGO, Spain (derailedonline.com) - Vigo hosted their one-time 2010 Bike Contest on the grounds of the prior years World Cup and Maxxis Cup course this past weekend. The event was very well attended and signaled the beginning of the DH racing in Europe this year. UK had a very strong showing, maybe the unusual amount of snow they received this winter had people itching to get on their bikes.
The big news is Neko Mullaly's (USA-Trek) first race of the year in near World Cup caliber racing was a stunning success winning by over 20 seconds in the Jr field.
Tracey Mosley (GBR-Trek) took home the win in the women Elite and Bernat Guardia Pascual (ESP-Massi) bested Marc Beaumont (GBR-GT) by only a fraction of a second.
