FORT WILLIAM, Scotland (derailedonline.com) - Second round of UCI World Cup racing completed today at Fort William and an exciting day of racing. Gee Atherton (GBR) takes the win on his homeland.
Cameron Cole (NZL) takes second place. Greg Minnaar (RSA) grabs second. In third is Aaron Gwin (USA) with his first World Cup podium and the first podium the USA has seen on the World Cup Elite Men circuit in long time. Michael Hannah wraps up the podium in fifth.
Elite Women, Sabrina Jonneir (FRA) walked away with first place. And another Atherton, Rachel (GBR), stands on the podium in second. Floraine Pugin (FRA) takes third. Tracey Mosely (GBR) in fourth and Emmeline Ragot (FRA) for fifth.
