NORTHFIELD, New Hampshire (derailedonline.com) - It's July in New Hampshire at Highland Mountain. The place is busy with running lifts seven days a week and preparing for the 2010 Claymore Challenge.
A tremendous amount of work has went into this years Claymore Challenge. The course has had more changes to it this year compared to last. The booth and village area have been expanded this year for vendors and entertainment. The event will feature a live video stream for the first time from DH Productions.
Live entertainment both on Friday and Saturday night inside the lodge – great choice for this time of year with high heat and insect population being what it is.
Practice has already begun for a lot of the participants. All the heavy hitters and the who's who of Freeride will be converging on Highland this weekend. The Claymore Challenge is attracting world class talent for this event as they have in the past with athletes flying in from around the world.
Check back on Friday for a full course preview here on Derailedonline.com. We will also be covering the event live. Follow us on twitter.com for instant updates. We'll be using the real time search tag #hmcc on twiter.com during the event.
